Emergency medical services (EMS) is defined as the system that organizes all aspects of patient care provided in
the pre-hospital or out-of-hospital settings. EMS is a critical component of the health care system and is
necessary to improve the outcomes of injuries and other time-sensitive illnesses.
Prompt C.A.R.E. is Registered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) that is mandated by law to Register, grant Certificate of Program Registration (COPR) and Oversee Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Training Institutions that offers the training for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). Prompt C.A.R.E. is among the Pioneer TESDA Registered Institution and the First Accredited Competency Assessment Center for Emergency Medical Services in the Philippines.
TESDA as a Technical Vocational Overseer of the government is an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Certified; that is to say that the training and education provided by partner Technical Vocational Institutions' (TVI) training is
of quality and adhering to industry standards.
These foregoing programs; EMS NCII and other programs such as Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Advanced-EMT (AEMT), Paramedic, Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVO), other emergency related and continuing education programs being developed by TESDA with the EMS Key Stakeholders wherein Prompt C.A.R.E. is actively participating are seen to be aligned with the country’s goal of
proving a better EMS for the Philippines.
It will establish, institutionalize and strengthen the country’s Emergency Health System.
